Specialized Tax Register

To be eligible for access to this service, the potential client must be a professional in one of the following fields:
  • a lawyer
  • a notary
  • a real-estate agent
  • an accountant (CA or CGA)
  • an evaluator
  • a land surveyor
  • a Canadian financial institution
  • a city official
To register, the potential client must use the form that you can find in the previous page.  Once filled out, the form may be faxed at 819 243-2380 or sent by email at finances@gatineau.ca to the attention of Madame Isabelle Rivest.  The original form must also be sent to the City of Gatineau at this address:

The professional licence number is mandatory - without it, the request will be denied.  Upon receiving the form, the City of Gatineau will communicate with the client, and allocate a user identification and password.  From that moment on, the client will have access to the service.

RULES APPLICABLE TO THE SERVICE

  1. After entering a valid user identification and password, the client gains access for a period not exceeding 60 minutes.  After this time, the system will ask for user identification and password again.
  2. If more than 10 minutes are elapsed between queries, user identification and password will have to be entered again.
  3. Access permissions are reset every day at midnight.  Clients making queries at that time will have to enter user identification and password once more.
  4. The information provided is for the exclusive use of the client, for professional purposes only.  No other use or retransmission is allowed.
  5. Any breach of the conditions stated on the registration form will result in the immediate cancellation of the client's account.
  6. At any time, the City of Gatineau may disallow access to any of its data.  The client will receive notification of this condition after making a query for data that is locked out.
  7. The client must inform the City of Gatineau of any change to the information supplied on the registration form, especially the address, telephone and fax numbers, and E-mail address.
