Conditions
- The Service and the tax data are offered for information purposes
only by the City of Gatineau. Any confirmation of this data
must come from the City. Only the information
obtained directly from an officer of the City is to be
considered official. The City of Gatineau is not
responsible for any errors resulting from errors in the data, the
illegal use or abuse of the information or its incorrect interpretation.
- The holder of the account and password authorising access to this
Service is responsible for any activity attributable to this account
number and password. Access to the Service is conditional upon the
respect of all the sections, conditions and stipulations of the present
contract.
- The City of Gatineau the right to accept or
refuse any request to register for the Service.
- The Service is reserved for real-estate agents, notaries, evaluators,
lawyers, chartered accountants, City officials and officers of any
Canadian chartered banks who need this information to finalise a
real-estate transaction. The City of Gatineau reserves the
right to remove access and disconnect an account holder without advance
notice or formal demand when the account holder uses the services for
purposes other than those specified in the present contract.
- The Service is provided by the City of Gatineau «
as is » and to the extent that it is available, without any
guarantee or condition.
- The City of Gatineau does not guarantee uninterrupted use or
operation of the Service in this contract.
- The signatory of this contract assumes all risks related to the
quality and the operation of the Service. Also, the City of
Gatineau does not guarantee that the data or files
will be received without errors and in a timely fashion.
- The present contract is inalienable, in the sense that none of the
rights, duties or obligations in the present contract can be ceded or
transferred by the account holder without previous written authorisation
by the City of Gatineau. Any attempted transfer or cession
without the City's authorisation is null and
unacceptable to the City which will have the
right to cancel access and disconnect the Service.
- This contract ends on 31 December
, unless an extension is
granted by the City of Gatineau.
- The user is fully responsible for keeping the City of Gatineau
informed of any change in the data entered in the identification section
of this contract.
